Livecycle Designer: Connect to Excel

Does the path & filename combination of the referenced excel file contain spaces ?
eg. C:\Documents and settings\....\spreadsheet.xls

Apart from this, you could use a query like-This query has worked like charm

Select * FROM [Sheet1$]
